Dorcy,

Thank you for sharing your heart so publicly for all to be a part of. What a beautifully honest tribute to your mother, and one of the best examples of forgiveness I've seen. I love your vision for your future with your mother and the way you are able to love her without being tied to how she chooses to love you. I can only imagine the work you've done to surmount the results of your upbringing to be in a place where your heart is so open and free and able to give SO much to others. Thank you for all you do!

Mom- I love your blog post. I also love Percy Jackson. I personally think people should not go see the movie until they read the book. I agree that all people have a gift they see it as a negative and when they can switch those thoughts to a positive they can see that everyone has gifts. I know that in the fifth book the author shares in an exert that he wrote the stories for his sons that are dyslexic and ADHD. The stories started out as bed time stories. They imagined themselves a super heroes and they could see themselves in a different way as a positive instead of a negative.
I love you

Thank you Deesha, You are right it really does.. I have worked with many families helping them see their only limiting beliefs and discovering what the decision forming incidents were in their lives that led them to such fear based actions and reactions today. This teaches them how to shift and move so they can change their behavior.
